My husband and I had the pleasure of attending K-LOVE’s Christmas Tour Friday night. What an awesome display of Christmas festivity and also what wonderful inspiration of the incredible Gift of God’s Son to our broken and hurting world. The music was full of life and full of Christmas. The concert/worship featured Meredith Andrews, For King and Country, Big Daddy Weave, and a special appearance by Moriah Peters. Here are their Christmas albums. Have a listen, and perhaps download some of these for yourself or as a gift.
Into the Silent Night — This is a short sampler Christmas Album from For King and Country. They put on one dazzling show for their audience and their King.
Ring the Bells — This is a single. We loved this song from Big Daddy Weave and Meredith Andrews.
Christ is Come — Big Daddy Weave, a group of talented musicians from Louisiana bring you their arrangements of favorite Christmas carols and have added one or two new ones of their own.
I Choose Jesus — I mentioned the added privilege of an appearance by Moriah Peters. While this album is not Christmas, I believe you will be delighted with her message and her music. We absolutely loved her offerings last night!
Here are a couple of other Christmas Albums in our personal collection. These include some original music from the artists that we would love to see become Christmas classics!
Merry Christmas To You – Sidewalk Prophets — We first heard the song, “What a Glorious Night” from Sidewalk Prophets, just a few weeks ago. It opens with the tender reading of The Christmas Story in the Gospel of Luke, from “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” We’ll be listening to this one this season for sure.
How Many Kings: Songs for Christmas — Downhere‘s song “How Many Kings” has become a favorite. I have this one on CD in my car and listen to it often. The album is brimming with the meaning of Christmas. (The drummer and his family are good friends with our son and daughter-in-law, too. We love supporting these talented guys!)

Crystal Carols — by Dean Shostak — playing Christmas Carols on his crystal harmonica. Dean performs in various venues. We were introduced to him at the Bartlett Performing Arts and Conference Center several years ago. He shares his instrument and his talent regularly in historic Williamsburg.
A Christmas Rose — This one is from One Harp and a Flute
